This policy explains what information The Cespedes Law Firm, L.C. ("we", "us") collects through this website, what we do with it, and the choices you have. If you have a question about it, email help@cespedeslawyer.com or call (323) 622-4951.
What you send us. When you use a form on this website, we receive what you type: your name, email address, phone number, the type of case, your message, and whether you checked either text-message consent box.
What the website records with a form. Along with your message, the website records the date and time, the page you sent it from, your browser and device type, and your IP address. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs of visits.
No tracking cookies. This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies of its own.
Some pages show a map of our offices from Google Maps, and some text uses a typeface served by Google Fonts. When your browser loads them, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's Privacy Policy. This website also links to other websites, such as court and government sites, which have their own policies.
We share your information only with the service providers who run this website and help us handle inquiries, such as the company that maintains this website, our website host, our email provider and our client intake system, and only so they can do that work for us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
When you give us your mobile number and check a consent box on one of our forms, The Cespedes Law Firm, L.C. may send you text messages about your inquiry and, if you agreed to receive them, marketing messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Sending us a form, an email or a text does not make you our client, and a message sent before we agree to represent you may not be confidential. Please give us only the basics in a form, and save the details of your case for when we speak. Our Terms and Conditions explain more.
Questions about your case? Call (323) 622-4951. Free, confidential, 24/7.
The website keeps its copy of an inquiry for one year and removes the IP address from it after 90 days. Messages identified as spam are deleted after 30 days. Copies in our email and client intake system are kept as long as we need them to respond to you, and as our professional obligations require.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing help@cespedeslawyer.com or calling (323) 622-4951. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. California residents may have additional rights under California law, and we will respond to any request as the law requires.
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through it. A parent or guardian can contact us on a young person's behalf.
This website is served over an encrypted connection, and inquiries are stored where the public cannot reach them. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything through the website that you would not want to be seen by others.
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
